 PERSHORE BULLITTS U11's 3 LENCHES YOUTH U11's 1

After losing away to Lenches in the league 2-1, after again dominating the game, the cup draw was just what we were looking for a home draw against the current league leaders.

The boys didnt need much persuasion they were all up for the game and revenge was on their minds.

After going a goal down against the run of play, the team responded magnificently with a desire to win every challenge put in front of them. The equaliser duly came thanks to a pile driver from Will through a crowded box

the fans went wild !

The teams went in at half-time all square, with the boys in dominant mood.

The 2nd half was all Pershore, with the Lenches boys losing their patience (and tempers) as they were frustratingly pegged back time and time again.

The goal had to come, and Ollie once again rose the highest from a corner to power a downward header in to the bottom corner of the net. The touchline once again erupted.

The icing on the cake was Jack Ds tenacity and hunger (just like Steven Gerrard v Napoli !!!) to win a 50/50 ball with the keeper and score the 3rd goal.

A point worth noting the Lenches Keeper was outstanding, and without him the boys could have won by 7 or 8 goals such was their dominance of the game.

Final Score Pershore Town 3 1 Lenches Youth

Man of the Match  - Ollie Garnett
